One of my main interests is Voice over Internet.  If you have high speed Internet (HSI), you can leverage inexpensive phone service.  I personally have not had a Plain Old Telephone System(POTS) since 2004.  I began with iConnectHere.com, then Vonage, BroadvoxDirect.com, Vonage(again!), Packet8.net, and currently use VOIPo.com

VOIPo

VOIPo is a newer company.  The founder, who can be reached on the VOIPo forums, goes by the name VOIPoTim.  Tim was an executive of HostGator.com, a major Web Host company (this site uses them).  I was lucky to beta test the VOIPo service.  The up-front Management style impressed me very much.  The vision of Tim is on the scale of Vonage, but their contact with customers, I feel, will result in more useful, better attuned service.
